Cork County Council is commencing the preparation of a new County Development Plan for the period 2022-2028 in accordance with the steps set out in the Planning and Development Acts. The purpose of the Development Plan is to guide the future development of the county.
This is Stage 1 of the Plan involving background documents on the following areas:
Approach to County Development Plan Review
Population and Housing
Rural Housing
Settlements and Placemaking
Urban Capacity Study
Economy and Employment
Water Services
Transport and Mobility
Energy
Built Heritage
SEA Scoping Report
CEF is consulting with it’s members in preparing a submission. We would encourage everyone to engage with the process as it is the Plan for the County to 2028.
