Turning Words into Action
We bring people together to rise to the challenges of the climate and biodiversity crises, adapting, re-imagining and protecting our environment

About Us
The Environmental Forum is an independent non-governmental organisation and charity dedicated to harnessing the energy and passion of people, organisations and groups from all walks of life to work together to protect the environment and create a better world.
We are a membership-based organisation and strive to involve people from all sectors, Private, Public, Community & Voluntary group and individual interest in the environment.
Our Focus
Informed by the Bruntland definition of sustainable ‘Development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs’ we work to foster, promote and implement actions through a whole of society approach to achieve a better environment for all. We do this by:
• Implementing projects that offer solutions to environmental challenges and contribute currently to Circular Economy initiatives and to Sustainable Transport projects.
• Raising awareness regarding the dual crises of climate change and biodiversity and facilitating action and behaviour change through a range of education and training activities.
• Helping to shape and influence the development of pro-environmental policy and support communities threatened by harmful development.
