About Us

ReStyle Ireland is a sustainable fashion expo roadshow owned and operated by The Environmental Forum. We want to give people an image of the future that is not polluted by fast fashion but governed by conscious consumption and give people a taste of the skills and practices involved.

Our Mission

Inspire Change

We aim to shift mindsets around fashion by showing people that sustainable style is creative, accessible, and empowering. Through positive and engaging experiences like our fashion shows, talks and demonstrations, we inspire people to see clothing in a new way and imagine alternatives to fast fashion. We want to use the learnings and insights from our events and partnerships to contribute to national policy development around curbing textile waste.

Educate & Equip

At our events we give people the opportunity to learn new practical skills and the gain knowledge, and tools that help people extend the life of their clothes. Through workshops and demonstrations we up-skill people in repair and reuse as well as traditional practices and new innovations. We want to empower individuals and communities to become more independent and self sufficient and make more conscious choices about their clothing.

Community

We bring together designers, artists, makers, educators, innovators, and environmental advocates to share ideas, collaborate, and drive real change. By fostering connections, we create a supportive movement for a more circular and sustainable fashion future in Ireland, connecting people and organisations to create a network of restylers, promote new initiatives and showcasing the amazing work happening all over Ireland.

Event Impact

In just one incredible day at our first Cork Event, the estimated future textile waste avoided was:

The mission of this project is not limited to promoting sustainable fashion. Style is just a way of doing things that is effortless and easy. We want to convince people to stop buying things they dont need, to impress people they dont care about with money they dont have. This goal is necessary across all consumer behaviours and we feel that it starts with what you wear. Look Good, Do Good.
