Cork Environmental Forum participated in the 2016 Parade in Cork on 17th March. For the fourth year Mahon Youth Group joined us on our float and are already working hard getting their costumes and props ready. Look out for birdlife this year.
The theme is 1916-The Legacy, participate in a carnival of colour, music, pageantry and comic fun.
We are delighted to have won the Best Overall Group in this year’s Cork St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Completely unexpected but great for all the participants and people who help us especially the Mahon Youth Group, all of our Brazilian and French supporters and Dowtcha Puppets for some costumes. The Mahon Youth Group, who have brought great visual creativity to the parade for the past 4 years. Well done to all & thanks to the judges!
