Bantry Bay’s Marine Environment – An Asset for Sustainable Tourism
To celebrate and highlight the international Day for Biological Diversity (IDB) there will be a special event at the Maritime Hotel, Bantry on Monday 22nd May from 2pm – 3.30pm focusing on the positive value the Marine environment of the bay lends to many activities and sectors of the local economy.
The UN theme for 2017 is “Biodiversity and Sustainable Tourism”, which has been chosen to coincide with the observance of 2017 as the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development.
